Shipping policy

Shipping

We provide global shipping to almost every country in the world. Should your address not be accepted at checkout, please contact us and we will try to find a solution.

All shipments are made using the most efficient and cost effective route, shipping from the US, UK or Germany depending on the destination Country. This means delivery to the US, UK and EU is duty free.

Please allow up to 2 weeks for your order to be dispatched, however, the majority of orders will be dispatched within a few days. You will receive an order confirmation email once you have placed your order, the tracking number will be available upon dispatch.

Orders to the UK are usually delivered within 3 days from dispatch. Orders to Europe, US and Canada are usually delivered in 6 to 10 business days from dispatch, and 10 to 15 days for destinations in the rest of the world.

The transit time indicated is a rough guide and not a guarantee: an estimated delivery date will be available through the tracking information, although we're not able to guarantee a specific delivery date. Please note that we won’t be able to cancel your order and offer a refund for a late delivery.

Please note that orders placed separately cannot be combined. Please ensure you've added each print you'd like to purchase to the cart before completing your order, to avoid paying multiple shipping fees.

If you have any queries or specific requirements (e.g. special delivery instructions, delayed dispatch) please get in touch before you place your order and we’ll do our best to answer as soon as possible.

Customs

We have duty free delivery to the US, UK and EU.

Customers in other countries may have to pay a customs clearance fee. For more information please refer to customs officials sources in your country.

Returns, refunds and replacements

All of our prints are made to order, which means we are unable to accept returns.

Rather than being held in stock, every print is produced specifically in response to your order, in one of our printing partner’s branches in the UK, US or Germany, depending on the order destination.

Once an order is placed, the next available edition number in chronological order is assigned to the print, and production can begin. Each print is then printed, numbered, and digitally signed, and paired with its own Certificate of Authenticity, before being hand-packed with care for each individual customer before dispatch.

For this reason, every order is considered final once the payment has been processed.

If you wish to request to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@edfairburn.com. We may be able to cancel your order and issue a refund, but only if it has not entered production yet.

Please inspect your order when it arrives, and contact us as soon as possible if there are any issues.

In the event of receiving a damaged print, please contact us within 48 hours with photos or video showing the damage, so that we can supply this to the shipping service for insurance purposes. We will arrange for a replacement to be sent free of charge.

In case there is an issue with the delivery of your print, you may be entitled to receive a replacement or refund. Refunds may be reduced by any additional postal charges incurred due to issues such as incorrect address information or failure to accept or collect the delivery. If your order can’t be delivered to you and it is returned to the sender, a new shipping fee may have to be paid before it can be redelivered.

Packaging

We work with a fully end-to-end carbon neutral printing partner, so all prints and their delivery are certified carbon neutral.

All papers are sourced from Forestry Stewardship Council certified sustainable sources. Packaging materials have been carefully selected to reduce the impact on the environment whilst still ensuring your artwork gets to you in perfect condition. Plastics are kept to a minimum and all packaging materials are sustainably sourced, being a mixture of recycled, recyclable or biodegradable materials.

For US orders, items up to 12"x16" are sent flat, while anything larger is shipped rolled in a tube. For orders shipping to the UK, EU, and the rest of the world, items up to 42cm on the long edge (A3 size) are sent flat, while anything larger is shipped rolled in a tube.

This policy helps ensure that items are shipped in the most appropriate and safe manner based on their size and destination.
